The VF Commodore was a complete internal and external refresh of the VE, and is now the last Australian-made muscle car, ending a long line of fantastic Australian made cars. Boasting a 6.2L V8 under the bonnet – with the option of the Supercharged LSA motor initially in the GTS, and later fitted to the the whole Gen-F Series 2 range, the VF produced up to 420kw at the flywheel. Yet the Gen-F HSV still benefits greatly from a Manta Performance exhaust system, which releases untapped power, torque, and responsiveness, while also allowing the brilliant sounding V8 beneath the bonnet to really come alive!
There are a number of options to suit all requirements, tastes, and budgets. A cat-back system is an ideal choice if you’re after improved sound, while a full system will give the maximum increase in performance, and also improve the exhaust note, making it crisper and louder. The dual 3″ is the ultimate system available for the V8 Commodore, giving the greatest flow, and a roaring unbridled exhaust note that will send any enthusiast into raptures.
On the supercharged LSA models, the factory exhaust is already 2.5″, so maximum benefits are achieved by fitting a full 3″ exhaust system to the vehicle. For naturally aspirated models, and those chasing a quieter sound, 2.5″ exhausts are available by special order. Please enquire for more details.
All systems are available in aluminised steel, or for the ultimate in longevity, stainless steel which carries a 10 year warranty.
