FORD RANGER UPGRADE – TOURING & TOWING

Built For The Long Haul

Complete Range: PJ, PK, PX1-3 & Next-Gen

Time to let your diesel breathe.
If your Ranger feels sluggish under load, this is the fix. Our systems replace restrictive factory piping with high-flow mandrel-bent steel.

  • Choose Turbo-Back (for older models/maximum flow) or DPF-Back (for late models/warranty protection).
  • Available in 3-inch for sharp throttle response or 4-inch for maximum heat reduction when towing heavy loads.

FORD RANGER BUILD – QUALITY & FITMENT

Built Your Way

Custom Options for Every Owner

Upgrade to the Real Deal.
Manta exhausts are built tough for serious touring. Available in premium Stainless Steel (10-year warranty) or rugged Aluminised Steel (2-year warranty).

  • Select your volume levelQuiet (touring friendly), Medium (sporty note), or Loud (aggressive rumble).
  • 100% Australian Made to withstand corrugated roads, mud, and heat.

Eliminate Restriction, Maximize Performance

Factory exhausts are built for silence and cost-savings, using narrow tubing that chokes your engine and traps dangerous heat (EGTs)—causing sluggish "turbo lag," especially when towing. Manta systems replace this restriction with large-diameter Mandrel Bends (up to 4-inch). This open architecture eliminates backpressure, allowing the turbo to spool faster for instant throttle response, better fuel efficiency, and significantly cooler running temperatures under load.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Which models do you cover?

We cover the entire lineup: PJ & PK (2006-2011), PX1, PX2, PX3 (2011-2022), and the Next-Gen T6.2 (2022+). We have a specific jig-tested system for every version.

Is the Aluminised Steel option good enough?

Yes. Aluminised Steel is heavy-duty and perfect for dry climates or inland touring. However, if you live near the coast or do a lot of beach driving, we highly recommend Stainless Steel for its corrosion resistance.

What is the difference between Turbo-Back and DPF-Back?

  • Turbo-Back: Replaces the entire exhaust from the engine down. Best for older pre-DPF models or off-road use.
  • DPF-Back: Replaces the exhaust after the Diesel Particulate Filter. This improves flow and sound without affecting emissions or your factory warranty.

Will a side-exit exhaust get damaged off-road?

Our Twin-Tip Side Exit is designed to exit before the rear wheel, keeping it high and tucked away. However, for extreme rock crawling, a standard Rear Exit is often recommended for maximum clearance.

Should I choose 3-inch or 4-inch piping?

3-inch: The industry standard. Perfect for daily driving, light towing, and sharp throttle response.

4-inch: Recommended for heavy towing or high-horsepower builds where getting heat out of the engine is the #1 priority.
