Isuzu Performance Exhaust
ISUZU PERFORMANCE EXHAUST FOR D-MAX & MU-X
Unlock the true potential of your legendary 3.0L diesel. Engineered by Manta for tone, torque, and trail-tested strength.
Our performance systems optimize airflow to help your Isuzu breathe. Whether you're hauling heavy loads in a D-MAX (2008–2025) or touring with the family in an MU-X (2013–2021), Manta offers Australian-made 3-inch mandrel-bent systems designed to lower running temperatures, spool your turbo faster, and unlock hidden power.

ISUZU D-MAX PERFORMANCE EXHAUST
MAXIMUM TORQUE, MINIMUM HEAT
Suits All D-MAX Models (2008–2025)
Give your 3.0L the flow it needs for serious towing.
The D-MAX is incredibly reliable, but the restrictive factory exhaust creates heat and lag when towing. Our high-flow 3-inch single system lets the engine work less while delivering more.
- Configurations: Choose a simple DPF-Back for late-model D-MAXs, or a Turbo-Back (with or without high-flow cats) for older models and off-road builds.
- Sound Control: Select your ideal volume with Quiet, Medium, or Loud options.
- Durability: Available in Premium Stainless Steel or Heavy-Duty Aluminised Steel to withstand mud, red dust, and corrugated tracks.

ISUZU MU-X PERFORMANCE EXHAUST
UNRESTRICT YOUR SUV
Suits MU-X 3.0L CRD (2013–2025)
Wake up your engine for easier highway passing and off-road driving.
Restricted in its standard form to 130kw and 380nm, the MU-X can sometimes feel sluggish under load. Replacing the narrow factory pipework with a 3-inch Manta exhaust transforms the vehicle, allowing the turbo to come on boost much earlier in the rev range.
- Model Compatibility: Fitments covering early non-DPF models (2013–Jan 2017) and later DPF-equipped models (2017–2021).
- Configurations: Options include DPF-Back (bolt-on street legal upgrade) and full Turbo-Back systems (with or without catalytic converters).
- Perfect Balance: Engineered with options ranging from aggressive 4x4 sounds to Quiet configurations that keep noise levels close to factory for comfortable family road trips.
Eliminate Restriction & Lower EGTs Safely
Because the restrictive factory Isuzu exhaust chokes the reliable 3.0L turbo-diesel engine—especially when heavily loaded with a canopy, gear, or towing a caravan—upgrading to Manta’s intelligently designed 3-inch mandrel-bent system is a critical investment. This removes extreme heat (EGTs), prevents backpressure, and permanently unlocks your vehicle's true pulling power.
The Manta Advantage:
• Instant Turbo Response
• Lower Engine Temps
• Refined Diesel Acoustics

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Will a 3-inch exhaust drone in the cabin?
For a DPF-Back or older non-DPF exhaust upgrade, no tune is required. However, coupling a 3-inch Manta exhaust with an aftermarket ECU remap creates an astonishing difference in your Isuzu’s performance, optimizing fuel ratios and significantly boosting your power and torque curve.

- DPF-Back: Replaces the exhaust from the factory Diesel Particulate Filter to the rear bumper. It transforms the sound and lowers rear temperatures, keeping your emissions system intact and 100% legal for the street.
- Turbo-Back: Replaces the entire exhaust from the turbocharger backwards. This provides the absolute best airflow and power. Note: Turbo-back systems on DPF-equipped Isuzus (2017+) delete emissions hardware and require an ECU recalibration. This is intended for off-road or race use only.
