Do I need a tune after installing this exhaust?
Cat-Back: No. The ECU will adjust automatically.
Full System (Headers & Cats): Yes. Because the flow increase is so significant, a professional ECU tune is required to optimize fuel ratios and prevent check engine lights.
Will the exhaust drone when towing?
The 5.7L Hemi can produce a specific frequency under load. For heavy towing, we highly recommend our Quiet option to ensure cabin comfort. The Medium option provides a great V8 note but may produce some drone when towing heavy loads up hills.
Do the tips require welding?
Yes. To ensure perfect alignment with the bumper cutouts on your specific vehicle setup, the 5-inch tips are supplied loose and must be welded onto the tailpipes during installation.
What is the benefit of Ceramic Coating the headers?
Ceramic coating acts as a thermal barrier. It keeps heat inside the exhaust headers (increasing gas velocity for more power) and significantly reduces under-bonnet temperatures, protecting plastic components and wiring.
